ECSEL is a partnership between the private and the public sectors for electronic components and systems.
The ECSEL Joint Undertaking is established within the meaning of Article 187 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union for the implementation of the Joint Technology Initiative on 'Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership' for a period up to 31 December 2024.
The ECSEL Joint Undertaking shall have legal personality. It is established by Council Regulation.
The Co-summit 2015, organized by the ARTEMIS Industry Association, will be held on 10-11 March in Berlin
The 7th edition of the Co-summit - featuring international keynote speakers, a high level panel discussion, an inspiring project exhibition and speakers corners fuelled by the project teams themselves - is dedicated to: 'Smart industry: Impact of SW innovation'

Total indicative budget to be contributed by the ECSEL Participating States* in 2014: 126.01 M€ (view detailed budgets for: ECSEL-2014-1, ECSEL-2014-2).
The submission deadline was 17 September 2014.
The ECSEL Joint Undertaking is organising a call for expression of interests in view of establishing a reserve list for Contract Agents (CA) positions.
The reserve list shall be valid until 31 December 2016.
